What is Gemmotherapy, or more recently referred to as Plant Stem Cell therapy?
The answer is detoxification and drainage.
In recent years we have all been hearing and reading about the thousands of toxins we are exposed to daily in the air we breath, our food supply, products we handle, etc. We have also seen a multitude of products introduced to the market for any and all types of detoxification. Gemmotherapy was originally discovered in the 1950’s by Dr. Pol Henry of Brussels, who referred to his discovery as “Blastotherapy.” His work was brought to the next level by Dr Max Tetau of France, who then referred to his clinical and biological applications as “Gemmotherapy.”
In simple terms, it is the use of fresh buds, sprouts, seeds and bark of living plants. The young growths are found to have the highest concentrations of active vegetal tissues that contain drainage properties and have also shown to be regenerative.
Why is gemmotherapy effective?
The embryonic plant material possesses all the properties and energy of the future plant. They contain all the vitamins, minerals, oligo-elements, and are found to be much richer in nucleic acids and growth hormones than more mature plant tissue. They also contain other active substances (auxins and gibberellins) which start to disappear in an aging plant. Not to mention they have not absorbed the toxins from the atmosphere as yet.
How are gemmotherapy remedies used?
Gemmotherapy remedies have a wide range of applications and can benefit people of all ages.
Extensive research and clinical experimentation has been carried out to identify the properties of different buds and determine their main indications. Research studies have tested and compared each of the different species within the genus to determine which one has the highest pharma -cological effect. For example, that's why Tilia Tomentosa is used and not one of the other linden trees. Chemical analysis has also focused on assessing the High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) properties of the buds, young shoots, rootlets and comparing them to the adult plant.
How can I benefit from the use of Gemmotherapy?
When gemmotherapy/plant stem cells are custom combined based on any number of means of testing, (whether it be blood work, energetic testing, saliva testing, dark field blood analysis) along with a patient intake, the totality of what is needed to be detoxified can be worked on effectively and efficiently. The client is monitored regularly and the plant stem cells chosen can be adjusted accordingly.
Here are some recent examples of results:
A client who had previously been diagnosed with an auto-immune disease and also diabetic, showed no signs (according to conventional blood work) of either issue after only three months on a custom program. He also lost twenty pounds and said he felt ten years younger.
